Love the thick eye liner! Perfect.

This is one of my favorite looks! The Smokey Eye. This was one of the first things I learned when I started doing makeup. If you’re looking for a more dramatic look, something to wear for a special occasion or even a night on the town, this is definitely the look to go with.

What I used:

• First Class from the Metal Orchestra palette in the True Romance eyeshadow collection by Kat Von D- such a pretty shimmery color, a great base for a smokey eye!
• Gunmetal from the NAKED pallette by Urban Decay- its a charcoal gray with pretty sparkles through out, this is my go-to color when I’m doing a dark eye.
• Smolder eyeliner from MAC- my favorite eyeliner! It’s very dark which is a must for me, and it is long lasting! I also went over the smolder with my angle brush and my paint pot from MAC in Blacktrack and made a slight wing on the ends which is my absolute favorite way to apply the eyeliner. It just makes it a little more dramatic and sexy.
• Falsies Volume Express by Maybeline it gives great volume and extends the lashes nicely.

This is such a great look and it looks fabulous on everyone!

Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, and hate leads to suffering.

I came across this picture today and couldn’t believe it was Kat Denning, she usually has a more natural look to her, which I love, but this one looks fabulous on her! There is something about heavy eyeliner that can just take any look and make it a little sultrier and edgier, it almost transforms your eyes…and it only takes a couple minutes! So I encourage you! If you think black eyeliner is too dramatic for your eyes, I say so what! Be a little adventurous and try it out! It might be your greatest look yet!
